The Inshallah Widows and Orphans Foundation has successfully completed its screening and registration exercise across the six districts of Kusaug, reaching thousands of vulnerable individuals, including widows, orphans, and Persons with Disabilities (PWDs).

The exercise was aimed at identifying deserving beneficiaries, creating a reliable database, and ensuring that future support programmes are targeted at those who need assistance most. Through the commitment of foundation officials, volunteers, community leaders and other stakeholders, a total of 6,132 beneficiaries have been registered across the six districts.

District-by-District Registration Results

The registration exercise represents an important step in the Foundation's commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable people within the Kusaug area. The data collected will help the Foundation plan and implement future programmes in areas such as economic empowerment, skills training, education, social welfare, and other forms of support.

The Foundation believes that every widow, orphan and Person with Disability deserves dignity, inclusion and an opportunity to improve their quality of life.

The Inshallah Widows and Orphans Foundation was established with one clear mission: to improve the lives of widows and orphans through compassion, empowerment, and practical support. Since its inception, the Foundation has demonstrated a commitment to serving vulnerable members of society, regardless of political affiliation.

On 16 July 2026 in Binduri and 26 July 2026 in Garu, the Foundation successfully held its launch events. We invited our District Chief Executives (DCEs), Members of Parliament (MPs), and other public officials because we wanted them to witness this important initiative and share in the vision of transforming lives.

Unfortunately, many of our invited leaders were unable to attend. While we respect that public officials have demanding schedules, their presence at such events would have sent a powerful message that the welfare of widows and orphans is a priority for all of us.

Community development is a shared responsibility, and when government, civil society, traditional authorities, and volunteers work together, everyone benefits.

Despite the challenges, our CEO, Awudu Fuseini (Top Senior), the management team, and our volunteers remain committed to this mission. We will continue to reach out to those in need because service to humanity cannot wait.

We also hope that, going forward, our political leaders and government appointees will continue to support community-based initiatives like this, regardless of who organizes them.

The future of Kusaug is in our hands. If we unite behind initiatives that improve lives, we can build a stronger, more caring society where every widow feels supported and every orphan has hope for a brighter tomorrow.
